Freak: I am not saying TSIG is is going under. I am just stating that some caution should always be exercised. Many people seem to be relying on "ifs", rather than considering them.

This is one of TSIG's competitors..

Deficit of 162.2 million, convertible subordinated notes, anticipate further losses, may not be able to meet debt obligations, etc. etc.?

Who was this competitor? TIA

Hi Freak and welcome back!

When you went to si jail, I thought I was going to have to get on a campaign to go bail you out but saw that others had beat me to it, was going to add to the "free the freak movement" when my computer crashed.

Regarding this post that I am responding to. That was an excellent piece of DD!! I must admit that when I first scanned through it, I thought O'no!! Did the freak turn on us? Did we all miss something? Now what etc. But after reading through it and the rest of the post I see that it is amzn that you were talking about. While some of us here have DD'ed tsig so thoroughly we feel as though we know the company intimately and it is imho that that is one of the main reasons this board has denigrated to it's current level. We must realize that good DD of a company does not stop at DD'ing the company that we are invested in, but must also extend to our competitors. So I DD'ed your post. <g>. That excerpt came from the amzn 10k filed 5/5/99. I see that in 1998 amzn had total revenues of 609.6 million and now has a share price of 182.50 with outstanding shares of 158.4 mil giving amzn a market cap of 28.9 billion. And this is our major competitor, that admits that they may not be able to pay their bills!

In comparison tsig has about 300 million in signed contracts with the revenues starting to flow in as we speak. Our 10k doesn't look so bad when compared in this light. I wonder where the share price will be when the revenues come in and RG sticks to his plan (which he most certainly has right up to current time) of achieving profitably, and a debt free company. Let's see 1/2 amzn,s revenues should give us at least 1/2 their market cap (probably more seeing how we should not have their debt) gives us a market cap of 14.5b divided by 114 million o/s (maximum the current o/s could be, even though we all know it is less) gives us a share price of $127. Now I know that this sounds like hype and taking into consideration tsig obtaining all of their goals and amzn continuing to run into these adverse situations that continue to skyrocket their price, but at .40, don't you think that maybe this little upstart turnaround company might be a better buy.
And didn't I read somewhere that amzn was going to increase the authorized, or was it the o
/s by some phenenomal figure?

To all the senseless posters on this board, imho, it was not so much the posting by Zeev Hed, or Ditchddigger that was the cause for the recent drop. It was you!! Afterall to summarize Zeev Hed's recent posting. He was badgered into DD'ing tsig!! IMHO ( as well as others I am sure) he did not give tsig justice, focusing mainly on the negatives and very little of the positives, of which there are many. The prime negative was of course the pp. By his own admission, if the pp were to be taken out, he could see tsig soaring. Now for a company with over 300m in projected revenues, does anybody think that they will have any difficulty taking out a mere 2.5m loan? Of course not. All of inane postings here of late have imho done nothing but scare off potential new investors and shake out the weak hands. Would any of the inane posters here invest in a company that had the snapshot DD presented by Zeev Hed followed up by craziness by the longs? I for one was glad he was here for he presented a very valid and balanced case for tsig.

To all of my friends here, I started taking control of my individual investments 1 year and 1 week ago. TSIG has been in my portfolio since 5/1/98, it is the only stock I have held from the beginning and I would like to thank the posters that presented good hard hitting DD ( you know who you are and you also know there are too many to list individually) (REW and Marty are at the top of the list). Tsig has been performing nicely and I am ahead significantly in this position. Has of oct. 98 my portfolio was down 75%, I can name many reasons for this decline and many things of what not to do. One of them was listening, believing and acting solely on message boards. I once posted that I disagreed that message boards can be a bad source of DD. I still believe that they are indeed a valuable source, however I no longer act upon message boards entirely. I see them as a place to get ideas, investor sediment and place to start the DD process and from there I either confirm or discount what I read. It now takes me a average of 3 days of DD before I enter a position. Today, after 53 weeks of individual investing I am now glad to say that I have regained all of my losses and am looking forward to turning a nice profit in 1999. Looking back at this last year, if I had looked at tsig then and at this board I would have ran for the exits and allowed the inane posters that I referred to earlier to run me off of what I consider to be one of the best possible performers in my portfolio.

Best wishes to all, now let's get this board back to sanity.
