Made some mistakes in that post, Ed. DIS is a 19mm product , for instance. FMR stake is 5% .....typoed the 55. Many truly excellent posters on this board. If you are going to post here please tell a lame joke or speak of some entirely unrelated interest now and then....
Can say that in the last week ...due to the course of PM events ...several of us - with outside help ( a corporate accountant and a economic consultant I know) - have taken a close look at debt and cash flow and the balance sheet. Summary. Hardly a thing of pristine beauty, but generally healthy for the foreseeable future. Not scary at all. Ampex will have time to try and bring its strategy to fruition ( and can survive a few more bad breaks ...but I think they have already had their share).

Napkin Math Valuation Musings - BCST vs AXC

Hey guys and gals.....

Fact - BCST purchased by Yahoo! for $5.6 Billion
Guess - AXC has over 50 million shares out including options/warrants in the money.
Fact - AXC owns ~20% of TVW which has many BCST attributes.
Fact - AXC has the option to buy another ~30% of TVW

Let me see........Hmmmmmmmmmm.....darn calculator @*&%^!&%$

Ahaaaaaaa.....

Looks like our little AXC stock could be worth $20 to $24 based on the 20% stake of TVW held. The full value at 50% ownership of TVW is $40 to $50!

Let me get the hammer out and check this calculator......bang, thump, wham....

Ok, now....click, click, click, click, oooops, click, click, click, hmmmmmmmmmm.....

Well, what do ya know, the darned thing is working correctly.

Best O'Luck

Tom
