No kidding. As part of preparing to do my taxes, I put together a little spreadsheet with my SUNW buys/sells since I first bought some in October, 1990 (at a split-adjusted price of $4.15, including the relatively high full-service commissions that I paid back then). Even including my panic sale in October, 1997, and some recent purchases in the $90's, my average basis is only about $31/share. This recent runup has definitely enhanced the value of my portfolio! Today's rise was more than I paid for those original shares. JMHO.
