Note: You can still run the AGP at 2/3 while running the core @ 83. PCI is 1/2 AGP, so you end up with a slightly underclocked PCI (and AGP) bus, but your Celery runs @ 375.

Here's the full returns on setting 83MHz bus & AGP 2/3:
Core: 375 (+25%)
AGP: 55 (-17%)
PCI: 27 (-17%)

Since the AGP bus isn't saturated anyway the -17% isn't fully realized. I know several people who couldn't get their new Celery's to do 450 reliably, so they resorted to this setup and have found it produces good results for rock bottom prices. Note also you can do this same thing with a 333, resulting in a 415MHz core speed and 456MHz from a Celeron 366. The higher bus speeds really pay off with this chip.

And all this with PC-66 memory as well. :)

OT overclocking

Micheal, short and to the point:
Try 112 Mhtz, I have had
excellent experience with the 75Mhtz overclock.
BTW: Good test for disk errors is WinBench 99:
zdnet.com
TIP #2: The three secrets to overclocking are Cooling, Fans, and
Cooling.

Long and windy:

Micheal, I have been running 3 Celeron 300a chips at 75Mhtz bus
for months.
The disks have been rock solid. They do fail at 83Mhtz, which
is why I never even tried 450 until last night.

Here are the settings .GE. 100Mhtz available on my Bh6:

100, 112, 124, 133. As was just pointed out to me, the
PCI bus runs at 1/3 the clock speed for these settings, instead
of 1/2.

Note that 112 is ~= 75/66, so if your (or my) CPU will run at
112, my experience is that the PCI devices can handle the 12-13%
overclock (66->75 is ~13%).

BTW, One of three Celerons requires 2.1Volts @ 450, but the
other two run fine at 2.0V. I have not tried 103 or 112 yet.

Joe
