246810, That was an Excellent posting! --In fact it sent shivers up and down my spine! As far as all the 3's that you posted are you sure your not just jealous of all those odd numbers! Mr. Even! Looks like there are more then just the two of us NYRR Shareholders looking forward to June!---Let's hope it turns out to be one of our most favorite months of 1999! JMO! Since we have been experiencing higher than average share trading volumes recently I think I'll do a quick calculation update on my --not so interesting prediction that includes a targeted number of shares to be traded before I anticipate seeing any significant up turn in share price! 246810, Okay! Here is the updated version/status of my prediction! I guess I should call it wild speculation! You may recall that I felt that once we traded through 80,000,000 shares starting December 5, 1998 I predicted that we could see an upside of .44 cents per share! Well my going in speculation was hoping that the 80 million shares could be achieved by March 30, 1999 --which of course did not even come close to becoming a reality ! However I still feel that the 80 Million share mark is at least one of the required components to lift the share price to significantly higher levels----so! as of the close of trading April 8th. we have moved through/traded approximatly 38,793,500 shares of the 80 million---leaving 41,206,500 shares yet to trade through to see if my prediction holds any water! If I use a revised timing benchmark of say June 1st? ( Gee! Where have we heard that one before?) and considering there are approximately 37 more trading days until June 1st. we would need to see a daily average number of shares traded from this point forward of 1,113,689 shares! Doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me given that volume has been starting to pick up-and If? any news is presented by the Company Management regarding any new business developments--or reporting status update or progress or otherwise regarding the Conrail Lawsuit--who knows? As all those factors are out of my control--I still choose to entertain myself by making a share trading prediction--as I feel volume can play a key role in the dynamics of this company should any positive developments begin to unfold!
