IMHO I think this statement is preparing investors for the negative news that will come from CPQ later this month.

In other words, he's telling us, Don't take CPQs shortcomings out on DELL.

some have posted that "faith" in investing is foolish...others "people aren't perfect" and managements fail....

i buy a stock as an effort to own a piece of the business...as long as the management does not falter and continues to provide above average returns in profit and revenues....than i have "faith" and accept "imperfections"....

why should you or i succumb to the perceptions and desires of those who has no financial interest in "the business"...easy to talk when your money is not on the table....hence the term.."talk is cheap"...

never knew of a contemporary business success story that didn't include excellent management...

thanks your always informative postings...they enhance...but never replace the "faith" we have in our investments...
