The April issue of MAXIMUM PC contains several ads from the major
PC makers and none of them are building the Ls-120 in their boxes. I had expected to see at the least Compaq with an offering but alas nothing to offer but the Zip 100 not even a mention of the Superdisk, weird.

Looks like Superdisk has failed big time. Their failure to expand on their offerings was IMO their best opportunity to have made any kind of meaningful impact in the market. Compaq's laptops didn't even offer Superdisk..

IMO they are finished and are relinquished to a secondary niche market.

Dell had Zip standard in most of their systems and optional in the rest.
Thought I heard that Dell was saying that unit sales were up this quarter.

Sonys been advertising every month with a two page ad introducing
the HiFD system ? Looks like nice advertising but I thought that they
were going to be out in February ?
I guess things don't always work out the way you plan them.

I wish to thank those that put in the time to forecast earnings for the next few quarters, Dave, Michael and Ken thanks for sharing your forecast with us.

It's what makes attendance of the thread worthwhile.
