stanley-- i have heard the same thing others have apparently heard (apparently the leaks are pretty big) about nokia. as for ALA, i dont think so. i see it from the perspective of pure networking, but if thats the case they could pick up COMS (which is also an ALA CPE (ADSL) vendor). the company is going to be taken out. they still have a decent customer base, decent revenues and some good technology. plus, selling out at 2x sales is VERY cheap. if they refused an LU deal they are insane. i still cant believe how much LU paid for ASND...but as an asnd shareholder i am not complaining at all<G>. good luck to all, trey
