Hello Jamie,

>>Why can't you just use the NDX chart for analysis. QQQ tracks the index so closely anyway. (+-3/16 in most cases)<<

Gee Jamie -- you're making a slow old Norwegian think a little bit here <g>.

I do chart the NDX, but since I intend to trade the QQQ I a) want to be able to see exactly what it's trading at in real dollars. If I didn't do that, I would have to calculate it anyway; b) I need the actual bucks for placing buy stop and sell stop orders; c) my charts are not logs but fixed box sizes, so the patterns are much different in the QQQ and NDX chart. The 20 point box on the NDX is fairly close to the QQQ chart I posted on this thread.

The same is true of the Dow Jones Ind Average and the DIA, SPX and SPY, etc.

Take care,

Eric

Hello Jaime,

Many years ago Dale Carniage(sp?) taught me that there is no sound as sweet to a man's ears as his own name. It stands to reason that spelling that man (or woman's) name is just as important.

My apology for misspelling your name -- not once but twice!

Take care,

Eric
