Let's look at the real business..continued…

2. Pinmail

Pinmail also doesn't have many customers at the moment. That's because, it hasn't been promoted yet and because it's been expensive, up till now. It cost $20 to join up. I paid the $20, before I bought ZSUN to check it out (that “understanding your investment” thing from that guy Buffet again). It's a really good service! Full Java, Proper toolbars, easy to use, feels like a real application, rather than an awkward html page. Is that enough to justify the $20 against the free alternatives @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com. Probably not!

I always wondered how ZSUN was going to generate some value from an email application. Hardly an original idea when everyone else is giving it away free. Then they released this:

biz.yahoo.com

Quote:

“The new PINmail service will give all websites the ability to offer web-based e-mail from their pages, as do major sites like Netscape and Yahoo! It will be completely free to webmasters and users.”

“They will be able to add a free e-mail service to their website simply by downloading some HTML code and pasting it onto their pages, he said.”

How many new web-sites are going up every day? I have no idea, but I'd say it's quite a few. How many of those new sites will want to generate some “surfer loyalty “ to their website by offering them a really cool email facility to bring them back every day? So they simply use PinMail with their own domain name. And then:

“In return for the free service each website will carry banner ads on the e-mail pages, which will be hosted and controlled from ZiaSun's servers in California.”

So this way, ZSUN will generate a very large number of ad-hosts for its MediaHits Network. It should grow user numbers much faster than hotmail ever did, because the marketing idea is smarter. I call it “spawning” and Tobin will also us it for Swiftrade as explained in my last post.

Make up your own mind, but to me this approach seems both, more effective and more COST-effective than the hotmail, Datek, amazon “pay for blanked ads and never make a profit” approach.

Beautiful simplicity, beautiful synergy.

Someone on this thread said that when investing in penny stocks (which this is no longer) you have to believe in the management. That's very true and the above are examples of why I support the management of this company.
