So lets recap
1. See post on SI with Symbol
2. Buy stock
3. Find out what the companies name is when the order taker confirms the buy order
4. Say " uh uh I guess so"
5. Then do DD
6. make money

Now I took an investment strategy course in my MBA and other finance courses and am taking the CSC later this year and have the course work.

This one looks like it might be worth holding on to for a few days...I took a half position at $0.64 and will look to possibly fill it out on any pull back this morning.

To bad for them if the price rise to $8.00 today!

From the NR yesterday...

>> TORONTO, April 8 /CNW/ - Signature Brands Limited is pleased to announce
that its Board of Directors has approved a Letter of Intent to acquire all of
the outstanding shares of CD Plus.com Inc. from its current shareholders. This
letter of intent has been executed by both Signature Brands Limited and CD
Plus.com Inc. At this time, no definitive agreement has been reached or
entered into and there can be no assurance that the transaction will proceed.

In the event that a definitive agreement is reached, shareholders of CD
Plus.com Inc. will exchange their shares for shares of Signature Brands
Limited such that they will hold approximately 90% of the shares of Signature
Brands Limited following completion of the transaction. The transaction is
subject to normal closing conditions including, among other things, execution
of definitive documents, the approval of the current shareholders of Signature
Brands Limited and CD Plus.com Inc., and the receipt of all required
regulatory and third party approvals, including the approval of The Toronto
Stock Exchange.<<<

Right in the fist paragraph of the NR we see the company cautioning that At this time, no definitive agreement has been reached or
entered into and there can be no assurance that the transaction will proceed.
Is this something that gives anybody concern? It is like the company is warning folks to not go crazy buying stock until the deal has been agreed to by CD Pluss.com shareholders. We don't have any indication if whether or not CD Plus.com shareholders are even remotely interested in selling. All we have as I read it is the approval of a letter of intent from the board of directors of SBX to acquire CD Plus.com. If tommorrow they issue another NR saying that negotiations were unsucessful...terms of the deal were not actractive enough then its back to the floor we go. I find it a bit incongrous to think that CD plus.com with sales the same volume of BII can be bought by a company which was trading for 13 cents. Does anyone know the company (SBX) and it's management? Would they do this to move out their stock at tripple or quadruple and two weeks later give us all the bad news.

I am not invested in SBX...I may but would like to know if folks have some of these questions.
