donald and ALL: I just finished correcting David's Elliot Wave pages. So, I have relinked them, David has not yet added new content. But there is now content on the help page, thanks to David.

I received this when I checked my E*Trade account this AM:

Your portfolio information is currently unavailable. Please check back after 1PM Eastern Time.

Well, I guess that is better than seeing the trading desk down, as has been the case for the last few days. Great service...right!

Regards,
LG

donald and ALL: I sent the following Email to S. Nison, as the imposter itself revealed it was a hoax.

Sir:

Please allow me to apologize to you. It turns out someone was impersonating you and not being very nice in the process. I am sorry for not checking with you first, it was my mistake.

Regards,
LG

I am a little knew to all this "low class" message board stuff, so I must admit, that I am gullible as well. But, I am learning!

Regards,
LG

The other take on the rate cut is that the rate cut may already be priced into European markets. They were expecting a series of 1/4 point cuts. Since they cut the rate 1/2 point, it's less likely more cuts will be forthcoming.

Good morning Donald and all.

I haven't been posting much lately because, #1- I don't have any TA that is any different than the others have provided and #2- (and the main reason)- I'm still numb <ggg>.

Just don't have a clue anymore. Why?

If it weren't for the Kosovo situation, I truly think that I would dive in, head first! 401K full market, play money spread thru out several trades.

As it is, 401K is cash and, well, I'm still in AOL and oil <g>.

But this Kosovo thing has great potential for spreading. (Sorry Larry. I just think this needs to be mentioned).

If any one watched abc's Nightline two nights ago- it is clear that Macedonia is losing its momentum towards democracy and will soon become, once again, a Communist country. They are 50%+ Serb and will side with Slobo. Montenegro will follow, reluctantly or not. Russia's threat this am is probably chest-beating, but ya' never know.

NATO cannot give up (even though they sure look impotent, as far as objectives go). I'm afraid this conflict will last a while, with "peace-keeping forces" (read at least 50% American) going into Kosovo. There will be casualties if that happens.

Sorry, just getting wrapped up in all of this stuff.

However, <G>, if this keeps up -

quote.yahoo.com

(at this moment, overall market NH-170, NL-94)

I just might put that 401K in the market next week!!!!! <G>

So! Now you know why I call myself numb!
I'm confused <g>
WTHDIK, IMHO, etc, etc . . .

Donald, re: exuberance, i watch sentiment very closely, and i don't see much exuberance overall. on the contrary, one wall street strategist after the other is cutting equity allocations , there's been heavy buying of OEX puts for quite some time now, and continued talk of overvaluation, bad market internals, etc. and the market just keeps on going up (if you're in the right stocks, that is). every time prices dip down, fresh buying emerges. as long as market participants continue to express concern over the various negatives, the "wall of worry" is intact.
