I have Windows 95 and can not pull up my saved FILES from my C-drive
or from my ZIP-Disk.
Can not figure out how to ASSOCIATE correctly with the right
PROGRAMS.
Is there a smart person out there with the right answers?
I need to know step by step how to go about it.

Thanks Karin

Thanks Frederick,

After I made that post I went to my C: prompt and was able to change the .ext by using Dos.

I printed out your procedure to unhide the file extensions. I then went to Explorer and was able to see I can now change the .ext by using rename. Thanks, I feel better now that I can see what the extension is. (Just used of the good old days using Dos, :-) )
