Ya need to catch up with the times. When a co. splits its stock, you wait 30 days, stir and shake and then its back to its original price. Presto, just like that.

A few weeks ago I tried explaining stock splits to my wife. I told her "its just like exchanging a dollar for 4 quarters". In this market I guess I have to tell her "its just like exchanging a dollar for 6 quarters".....

Jim Cramer of thestreet.com had a good article today about the current mentality of the stock market. Let's just say that he thinks it's "!&@* stupid".

Re: stock splits. Don't you know that two five dollar bills are more valuable than one ten dollar bill? I remember that from MBA 501.
