If you want to talk long term prospects, let's not forget about the developing fibre infrastructure. Aware has a significant lead in the DSL R&D department, something along the lines of two to three years worth. Current copper DSL will be a huge stepping stone for them to build their business even bigger and better, as well as establish a commanding position in the market(didn't Intel do something like this...hmmmm). However, as with any company, they must and will continue to innovate within their industry/tech sector. "Traditional" analysis leaves a lot to be desired in todays markets. It is the ability to also read between the lines that makes investing more profoundly profitable. Anyone looking for strictly predictable results is either receiving a piddly return or is in the wrong place altogether, unless of course they already have millions to go around.
