A MUST READ I bought some WINR several months ago and became very concerned when the story of non receipt of funds by a disgruntled WINR participant was reported on this board. I have copied the following from the previously linked RB site for all to read. It is very informative and has made me comfortable and confident concerning WINR ********************************************************************* Hello all! As you may remember I posted about a month ago with concern that I was not being paid a substantial amount of money from Winners.Since the time of my post I have been in close contact with David Skinner. David will be the first to admit that Winners had some payment problems. After many courier and banking mishaps David stopped payment on all checks and issued me a wire. I stated to him at that I believed he was doing everything in his power and I would be supportive. I want to share with you his e-mail he sent to me before he left for Austria. It has been the worse case of everything that can go wrong does. But the good side is that we have changed our entire system and we have learned from these horrible mistakes. I appreciate your help and encouragement and can fully understand your feelings through all of this. As I tell my people, and that is the reason I am in the trenches and have been for the past 3 months, I want to know what is happening with everything. Long hours, days with no time off is paying off. We have cancelled contracts with every middle man in the payout structure and have taken all in house with a wonderful bank joint venture. We are not shirking the responsibility. It was done under my responsibility and I am not one to pass the buck. We now have set back up in case of natural disaster, power failures, computer failures, banking failures, second sites, personnel and all that we can do. We are a company in the infant stages and YOU are so important to us. The good side for us is that your tragedy has played a major role in the revamping of the entire structure. We have more exciting things on the horizon that cannot be mentioned at this time, but rest assured that we are in this for the long haul. We are about ready to release a very big advertising campaign now that all is in place. Check out our site on Monday for in options and out options of money. Anyway thanks for eing a foundation for our (including you) company. I have lost many nights sleep not having the controls we now have. We never realized how quickly our system would be growing. Growing pains hurt but are good in the long run...Take care and Happy Easter....David End of e-mail I was hesitant to post this because of all of the flak I received from my first post but I thought everyone should know how involved the CEO is. He responded to me via e-mail, fax and even called me from Austria. The following e-mail was sent to me after I emailed David that the wire hit my account on 4/7/99. Want to keep in touch with you. You have helped us to make our business stronger, so we owe you. Look forward to meeting you in person....David. end of e-mail The money cleared my account 4/9/99 If it seems like I am a David Skinner fan-I am. He is obviously a “hands on” CEO that is going to turn this company into something big. David could have been hyping Winners over the last two weeks with news about the lottery, new payment methods i.e. Western Union Quick Pay or the “very big advertising campaign” they are launching but from what I gather he is working hard to make Winners strong for the future! Best regards, Marc
