If it is institutional, usually the coverage will follow their initial buy-in, IMO. But there are no doubt a lot of shorts covering. It's dumb to be short in any LVC business right now.

(BEAM) was Recommended by The CHEAP Investor several months ago when (BEAM) was trading at the $4 level.

I have been a subscriber of The CHEAP Investor since 1994 and have been in Many stocks Recommended by The CHEAP Investor which had EXCELLENT GAINS.
I didn't get in on (BEAM) but have on many others:
As recent example: Bill Mathews publisher of The CHEAP Investor had (MDIX) on the Hot Line a couple of times in January 99, Recommending MDIX at .20 cents. A Good Trading stock, MDIX has near doubled twice since then. Now for a 3rd trip UP, this time over a triple at .72 cents. Bill has revised his criteria somewhat and has started recommending a few otc-bb stocks, now that Nasdaq has kicked several good companies off the small cap for lack of share price. Appears that this could be the new Small Cap or Bargain Hunting Market.

I posted here make those who may not be awear of The CHEAP Investor and his uncanny ability at picking stock picks. Of course he has been wrong on a few, name anyone who has a perfect record. All anyone need do is just look at The CHEAP Investor's OVERALL TRACK RECORD, I TRACK his every stock and I KNOW what they do...

MDIX just happened to be ONE of several recommendations The CHEAP Investor has had just in the last 4 months which had GAINS of a double or more.
Here are a few but not all that had gains in just the last few months.
(RGIN) Recommended @ .84 cents, hit $3.56
(VXTK) Recommended @ $1.34, hit $6.50
(ALCY) Recommended @ $3.50, hit $7.88
(GYM) Recommended @ $7.00, hit $11.88
(HIV) Recommended @ $1.75, hit $2.63
(BEAM) Recommended @ $4.00, hit $15.00

Fonar Corp. (FONR) has doubled twice since the last CHEAP Investor recommendation at $1.18. FONR is AGAIN currently trading near this 5 year low. Past trading history shows that (FONR) always provided investors with OPPORTUNITY for nice profit gains, especially from this $1.25 level.
My personal opinion, is that (FONR) is grossly undervalued, positioned for a HUGE move UP in stock price and that the time frame for such a move could be soon now.
See fonar.com

These are MY opinions and perceptions,

TO ALL:
Could anyone here briefly list the advantages of one LVC company
over another, their market shares etc to make a nice comparison.
I am a newbie to the LVC market and its like a maze here with
postings across all induvijual threads. It would be nice if there
were a summary of all the players and their relative standings in
just one post. It would be helpfull for new entrants to this sector
to pour over. If one such single post already exists, please provide
me a pointer to it. Thanks!
