The frail nature of Flop! disks have been confirmed by actual users. This is a fact. The only way Flop! is going to be a financial success and saviour for Iomega (now that Iomega has officially given up on Zip replacing the floppy) is if it has mass market appeal. However, the mass market consumer will be totally upset when they lose their precious pictures and files when Flop! disk after Flop! disk fails from typical consumer usage. If you think people were upset with Iomega's Click of Death (and the resulting pending Lawsuits), then get ready for Flop!'s Mysterious Missing X-Files.

One moment, your pictures and files are on Flop! disks..the next... they're gone...

This phenomenon has been confirmed by actual users who are now very upset at Iomega.
