ing have just previewed the new utdl technology and it is the most innovative thing that i have seen on the net in a while,,what it is ,,,they will distribute cd roms on a specific subject i.e.n.y. yankees,,which will be distributed at the game on it will be preloaded highlights information and advertising when you put it in your computer it will access the yankees website and hence make the site fully interactive,,there you can click and buy merchandising tix to future games and cds books and whatever,,another aplication is ,,they can use this technology on dvd's compact discs and cd-roms,,so let us say you buy the new madonna cd when you put it in your computer it access her web site and allows her to host her website interactivly and maybe take you to her new video or old video,,,the most attractive application to me is the capability to create original web programing that is time released by utdl ,,so you can get your favorite show's cd and every week at 8pm you can put in your cd rom and watch the show which will be time released by utdl to show at that time along with commercials,,this also let's the advertiser actually see in real time how many people are watching their show,,another application is for movie previews when you go to the movies you get the cd rom and the you can see movie previews for the next month and then click and order the tix for the movies you want to see,,i have seen their ads and it is just a matter of time before they make some major deals,,,i asked the question about broadband and the answer was ,,they thik broadband is atleast 5-7 years away and they are using that time to establish name brand so when broadband is in use all they have to do is switch over and their will be no need for the cd rom.they will have 15-20 major agreements in place by that time with major websites and they will have the brand name to just switch over.they make their profits off of everything they sell and advertisements and licensing agreements,,this company is going to be huge!!!and it is in the infant stage right now and as soon as some of their big deals are announced it will surely fly,,,
