Games Trader to Appoint U.S. Game GURU to Board of Directors BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--Games Trader Inc. announced today that Mr. Donald Kingsborough has agreed to join the Board of Directors of Games Trader Inc. Mr. Donald Kingsborough, a resident of California, is best known for helping to build successful start-up companies, such as Atari, Nintendo of America and Worlds of Wonder and launching new products, such as the Atari 2600, Nintendo 8 bit and 16 bit video game products as well as Worlds of Wonder's Teddy Ruxpin, an animated talking bear which, in 1985, was the world's no. 1 selling toy and the toy gun Lazer Tag. He was instrumental, as CEO and Chairman of DK Marketing, in introducing the Nintendo sales phenomenon to America through an exclusive sales and marketing agreement between DK Marketing and Nintendo Co. Ltd. During that period from 1984 through 1989 U.S. sales for Nintendo rose from zero to over US$2 billion.
