Michael, ahh, we finally agree on something <g>. AMD would certainly be better off in IBM hands, or some Japanese company. But what these guys would bring to the table, is the realization that a price war with INTC can never be won. Move up the food chain and compete on performance instead of price. With K6-3 and K7 (provided they put this out on time), they will finally have the ammo to do this. But they will have to sacrifice the low-end to do it. And they most gladly will do so. Their shareholders will demand it. Gary
