That's a sad story. Since we're talking SSB some...they did recommend I get rid of my SUNW shares at $85 (they have a 3 rating on Sun as well). Of course I didn't budge. They still have a 3 rating on the stock, meanwhile my money has tripled. I consider my broker to be more of an extra advisor for me. I definitely call my own shots. I do need and appreciate the "balance" that my broker helps me with. I really have no one to talk investment with. S.

RE:Smith Barney/Merrill Lynch etc-ALL of them have canned/smeared their hard won reputaions -stolen their client assets and replaced all the client caring.serving experienced brokers been done .over the past 20 years with--- script reading cheap young bodies.Believe me I know!wbm PS No wonder you threadsters have no on to talk to-They are in business for themselves-scared to death of taking on new clients because of the plaintive attorney-THE NASD made it that way!!!
