Cog and changes in stock screens:

I changed over to positional screens this week as that is what I will be concentrating on over the next three months with the consortium I will be working for. I do not intentionally screen out anything, although I did edit the ones that made severe jumps on the previous day or two. EFAX, CMGI, BRCM, PSIX, etc were on the list, but not appropriate for end-of-day or slower response times.

The daytrading screens look at OBV, Stochastics, short term Moving Average crossovers, etc, where as the positional screens look atRelative Strength, TRIX, MACD, LRF, Parabolic SAR and longer term stochastics. By nature of the short term price volatility, the interents are generally less likely to show up on the latter screens (which look for bullish trends), although that doesn't make them any less profitable plays. There are enough posterson this thread flagging the day movers to warrant concentrating on mid-term plays, and if the interents show up on the screens, they will be posted, although I will still screen out whatI feel are riskier ones.
