I am not sure but agree. SI should limit the first post to a few lines. If you have more to say put it in your first post!

If you bookmark this thread and only enter through the bookmark, you never see that first message. The bookmark will automatically take you to the first post you have not read. Hope this helps.

What an amazing coincidence - I just sent an e-mail to the webmistress@techstocks.com to ask her to give us the option to remove the first message on all boards -- it does get in the way -- especially if you have your posts listed in reverse order -- most recent posts first. I just want to click on the board and see the top message be the most recent one without having to scroll down. You may want to e-mail the webmistress as well.
