Thanks Peter, I too have shares of NTII since late last spring-- regarding the wicked spread... I wonder if they just set up their computer to do a little skimming operation--and set an alarm to go off if any volume picks up? But getting back to failure in groups... I suppose you could be right about failure hurting other companies in the same area-- the premise being if one company has a molecule that fails, the market should punish similar molecules? _________________________________________ Cancer stocks chit chat... And conversely, we see Sugen get a little anti-angiogenesis press on 60 minutes, and things like OSIP take off? Does that make sense to you? I have down OSI in a partnership with Pfizer with small-molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor--does that have anything to do with angiogenesis? Could it be this in this situation the market /traders are merely looking for Cancer stocks? I tell you, this has been fun chatting with you biotech fellas here on SI, but I think I am not quite ready to move any of my savings or retirement into the stock market--my mad money/trading money fine, I do think this sector is very cheap...but I do not understand the markets' behaviour at all. I'd have predicted from the information here on SI that Sugen and Celgene would be the ones to run lately, and yet I keep seeing things like IMCL show up on the Yahoo OSIP thread. I am just going to try and ignore the whole weird thing...I must be really out of touch buying ONXX and MAGN in this past week.
