The thing that Intel investors should worry about is that commodity producers in the process of going bankrupt do not tend maintain firm prices as they are doing so.

Don, but I'm not saying AMD is going bankrupt. Just that they will choose to compete where they have some hopr of making money. It does them (and INTC) no good for them to steal market share at the low end.
I believe INTC wants them to move up in the food chain, albeit at lesser market share. INTC can then settle in at low end pricing more amenable to bottom line profits. Everybody wins, except the gutter price box producers. They will have to use IDT WinChips. Lets see how many of those people, are willing to buy. Probably all that can be produced, which ain't very many...
