Totally Cool new CD-RW's at Cebit last month. Iomega included nowhere in the highlights of the show.

This link has some neat pictures of the Cebit Show late last month.

Among these pictures are some Ultra-Cool-looking cutting-edge new CD-RW drives:

An Ultra-cool tiny FireWire Yamaha 16x4x4 speed

...and an Ultra-Tiny Freecom USB 20x4x4 CD-RW (should work great with my new iMac)

These CD-RW's blow Iomega's/Nomai's silly, clunky little toy 6x2x2 CD-RW away. Iomega bought Nomai and all of their famed "CD-RW Technology." What a laugh! Nomai was only known for knocking off Syquest and Iomega disks. Nomai only starting licensing CD tech after they were getting killed in the market by CD-R/W and just before Iomega bought them out.

Among the pictures in the links above are also some that show absolutely horrible attempts by Wintel PC Makers at knocking off the terrific looks of the iMac. It just goes to show that despite being shown the way, some companies just plain get it wrong.
