I think your wrong there. Depending on the DOR depends if you will get the shares. You could have sold today and still get the free shares if the DOR was as of close of business any day prior to today, and if you bought before the DOR. It is unlikly the free shares are there for those that buy now but it will all depend on the DOR. The DOR will should be good only for the close of business of the day they pick.
