Vitas: Well, I printed out your Hindenberg post (the one you linked to) I need to look it over. Norman Fosback was one of the guys I read when I first started doing my own thing back in the mid eighties. The "overlap" problem with the MDA Web Site is something we are trying to over come by designing the pages with that in mind. PC's have the ability to change the display setting (graphics card) by right clicking on the desktop, select properties, this brings up the display window. Then select the settings tab and you can change your font setting. Changing your font setting requires a reboot. The normal setting is small fonts. And the normal setting for the Internet Explorer Browser is medium. That is how the pages where originally built. Since the problem has become known, I went back and reconstructed the Home Page with both views in mind. Some people have there resolution set over 800 x 600 and they use the "large fonts" setting to help them read text. But it can cause problems on some software programs and some web sites. I switched to 1024 x 768 and the "large fonts" setting. Now I can see both views. If you are having overlap, you can lower the fonts setting in your browser. Lowering the font size in your browser does not require a reboot. It can help. All contributors are supposed to be editing their pages in the “large fonts” mode now. However, I have one section, which keeps being built with problems. When I run across pages that do not work for the following: (display set to large fonts (1024 x 768) and IE 4.0 set to medium font) I am unlinking the pages. Once the co-member (contributor) corrects his/her page/s, I will re-link them. I want everyone who surfs into the MDA Web Site to be able to use it. Of course, accommodating both display settings requires me to sacrifice the layout of the Web Site, with both views giving up some quality. Regards, LG
