Participation in Premier Domain Registration Service Program Gives iServer Direct Connection to InterNIC Database
March 18, 1997, Orem, Utah - In an announcement that was made at the Spring Internet World Trade Show in Los Angeles this past week, Internet Servers, Incorporated, (iServer) of Orem, Utah was named by Network Solutions as one of their Premier Partners. iServer joins an elite group of Internet service providers, such as MCI, Netcom Interactive, and DIGEX, who will now be able to guarantee new domain registrations and modifications in the .com, .org, and .net domains within one business day in the US, and global updates within two business days. iServer will have a direct connection to Network Solutions Domain Registration Service, known as InterNIC, that will provide iServer's registration in the .com, .org, and .net domains.
iServer is one of the leading Internet hosting providers, with over 15,000 active domains hosted on its Virtual Server Systems. Kent Millington, iServer CEO, touted the announcement as a clear indication that iServer is at the forefront of virtual server technology on the Internet.
