Above is a description of a typical short-sighted, daytrader mentality, IMO.

Wise long-term investors would evaluate the whole picture, not just volume and small daily fluctuations. Before buying or selling, they would factor in, among other things, the new contracts and future ones coming in and whatever cash flow they are and will be generating.
