Morgy, If decent teachers are not a fundamental building block of first-rate society, along with responsible parenting - I do not know the heck is!! A very sad commentary - this issue is the same here in Toronto, to some degree ... there is a shortage of teachers at the present time .... a friend of mine is going to Buffalo to get fast-tracked through their system - then come back here to teach. She can get qualified in half the time in Buffalo, compared to here .... costing her big $$$$ - but in the long run will be worth it. Priorities .. priorities ..... lets get them back. MB
