What do you think about these large companies in the tech sector (Dell, AMD, CPQ, MU, HP) that are announcing earnings not as rosey as projected and getting slammed, but the whole sector isn't going down?

Each one stays inflated until they go to bat with their earnings number, but they are usually the only one in the sector that goes down. Is there no correlation within an industry?

When AMD announces that they are coming in light due to slowing PC sales and internal problems, shouldn't that be bad news for INTC? What if you combine the Dell, IBM, CPQ and HP outlook?

Have I gone mad?
