I use DLJDIRECT and E-TRADE. I believe it's $20 for trades up to 5000 shares--service is acceptable.

Hi Bill .. I happen to use a close friend of mine as a broker, so I get a break with respect to commissions. I also like the security of having him on the other end of the phone saying - "OK, you're filled". I have heard too many horror stories about investors fighting with their on-line service about orders.
