That link didn't work for me. It was black except for todays stock quote. Are you telling me that yes, the tender offer has been terminated early? If so, I'm surprised that it did not make any type of significant news. I did not see it in stocksite nor at E*trade where my accounts are located. I readily admit I'm a newbee, but wouldn't this change GNET gag order to not issue any press releases until the tender period is over (as someone previously stated on this thread).

CPQ will be an isolated event that doesn't trigger wide sell-off, any market wide weakness caused by dysfunctional CPQ will be viewed as buying opportunity by the smart money, same way AMD warnings were.
