Teflon, The phone jacks are the same. However, I am not sure of the snow---Have not been there. Here in Ontario, the snow was gone over a month ago.

The phone jacks are similar, so are the electrical plugs. The beer is a bit stronger, the dollar weaker. MSFT shares much the same.

P.S. The Commander bought some of those funny electrical wall plugs at a hardware store when we were in Scotland a few years ago. Installed them in the guest rooms when we were expecting family from Nashville TN. Great fun!
