CPQ according to Kumar is its own problem

On CNBC he is saying he expects INTC to report better than expected earnings next week.

"The first ray of light will come out of Intel's report"

Microsoft's bungling of their OS will not screw up Intel if they don't tie their penetration of the enterprise server market to Microsoft. They ought to work more closely with Novell. But then again you know my position on that.

Novell's NOS is already running on a Merced emulator.

My original inquiry concerned the NYT article,
but EP's sneeze is threatening to Compaqt the market.

TV Talking heads already calling a Sell-Off in Tech.

On the day of our split, no less.
