-ABT (+7.1% week) sparked Pharma rally with an excellent 1 Qt EPS report

-PFE (+4.6%) reached all-time high of 146 13/16 in anticipation of next week's expected strong 1 Qt EPS report.

-SGP and WLA both had 8% bounces.

PFE Split Information

-On the April 22, 1999 Annual Meeting, PFE shareholders will officially approved an increase in authorized outstanding shares that will permit a 3-1 split.

-Following the Annual Meeting, the PFE Board is scheduled to meet and announce the 3-1 split and its effective date....Expected to be following the June 30, 1999 close.
