OILS' patents and 4-10 bpd demo.........

The IBM patent server at...

patents.ibm.com

....provided me with one patent for Albin Czernichowski, #5,711,859, describing a device/process for treating N20 with a cold plasma arc. This could be similar to his SynGen apparatus. Several patents by a Thomas E. Cooley relate to membranes. I'm assuming this is OILS' Thomas Cooley. I found no patents for Automated Transfer Systems or any Czernichowski patent for the SynGen process or apparatus, i.e., the syngas-from-natural gas process. Perhaps others (Nextnet?) have been more successful or can point the way to specific patent numbers.

According to OILS' press releases, the 4-10 bpd GTL demo plant in Alberta, Canada should be functioning momentarily (April 1999).

Is the successful functioning of that plant behind the recent run-up?
