Why does ebay go up when a secondary offering is expected to hit the market? I heard that insiders plan to sell 2.25 MILLION shares as part of the secondary offering. Will AMZN eventually eat ebay's lunch? Only fools will buy ebay at the current price. The best way is to stay away, not long and not short. Without short covering, ebay downward trend will continue.
