well since I run netscape I suppose that could be happening -- and I certainly don't want to be argumentative about it so. what I will do is start doing preemptive close downs of both netscape and iq it is a major pain in the butt because I use iq's tick interface plus I have several browser windows open - this afternoon when I closed down it took 8 minutes before I had iq running again... but any port in a storm I guess....still, none of my other applications slow down. I use TC2000 to download 120k of price data at 3:30 and that is never slower than at any other time during the day... I guess I still think it is iq...
