I would acknowledge that they are related. But why did you jump right away and directly in your preceding post to blame CPQ's warning on sub 1000 PC, therefore, the retail market where AMD is a major player. The warning statement clearly stated otherwise.

How on earth that you are so certain that CPQ's retail market efforts need to be financed by their commercial sector?

Excatly how do you come up with this? What do you know about Compaq's strategy/pricing that we don't?

Announcement said weak commercial sector, that's all. If you are going to speculate, give some reasons. Otherwise it is just noise!
