Tradelite... thanks for your thoughts. As I recall, they did have a cc last time they blew a quarter. Anyway, I'm still hangin' in here with my shares and will continure to hold. this is the same old story from CPQ, so it's not new to me. warm weather is here, so I'll hide out on the golf course and hope for better days. El

The problem is that without a conference call so that analysts can ask in-depth questions, we're left out in the cold, so all that's left is the hype. Since February when EM said the first 6 weeks were weak, we all complained that Compaq wouldn't step forward and clear things up. Now exactly the same thing has happened. And I take no comfort at all in EP giving out with the statement that they will be profitable and competitive in 99'. As we've seen, he's good at making statements, and poor at backing them up. Have you seen him back up his statement of "enhancing shareholder value"?
