Victor, you poor, deluded, bitter, bas-ard. You have been sniffing your dear old grandma's socks again.

I challenge you to find any post of mine that said Compaq would meet it numbers. When I do decide to pick up this sorry excuse for a box maker, it will ONLY be for a short term flip.

55% wrong in Q4 and it looks like 50% wrong in 1Q.

Well he's got the range bracketed anyway... maybe the next shot will lob in.

But point well taken on the analysis - Jim apparently got it exactly wrong. CPQ, instead of stuffing the channel and making numbers, stayed on the diet. I also wonder what happened to the tax credit - with $9.4B in revenue they should have had enough GPM to eat up some of that.
