Sigmund,
That last twenty minutes was a fast rally on very little volume, but I noticed that Bloomberg, Piper and the INCA were driving up the bids. Since we last closed at 20 1/8 Bloomberg has especially been buying shares and propping up the bid whenever it slips a half-point.

The blocks that went off today (5k and 10k s) all went off on the ask. They didn't drive up the price because, I think, a lot of people have been scared and are selling now to break even and go take a nap. But the trend is up, and I think this month is going to be very profitable for THQI longs.

As for what made the price go down, my guess is that some deep pockets saw a opportunity to sell, go short, drive the price down against the manly-but-outgunned buying of a bunch online chatterboxes (that's us) and investors with no extra buying power (that's the AOL Motley Fool thread)-- force a few margin calls and capitulations-- cover from 16 to 20-- and buy their wives a new fur. They did it!
