Scumbira - I mean OVERALL. AMD has not consistantly been able to demonstrate output. Don't you think this has been a problem? AMD says as much in there own press releases. If AMD had put out 2.2M units each month of this quarter, don't you think we would be having a different discussion? I can't understand where you're coming from when you indicate that AMD is doing a fabulous job (regarding manufacturing/ fab output).

Also, you didn't really answer my question from my previous post. I'll slightly rephrase: Could AMD be stretching the design to product envelope too far, insomuch that they seem to consistently lose valuable time getting yields to acceptable levels during critical product release time frames?

at March 1999 ? Why ignore the other two months ? Why ignore
last year, the year before ?
