ian....re cpq...my thoughts exactly

cpq was my largest holding until mid feb, when i began selling at 42, and ended at 34, on the way down...i held it for about three years, for i felt the proposed direction of ep would be to challenge ibm...four years ago, i bought dell also, but considered them a "boxmaker" at the time!..ep not able to execute... i switched all cpq into dell, now my largest holding and emc, the timing was beneficial....i buy "management", and at this point wonder of the direction of cpq...too many attempts...but no real growth...my hopes with dell are to challenge everybody...i like their execution... have held intc and msft for quite a while...just bought some aol, haven't figured out why...but i'll do something with it....believe in long term hold until a "pfeiffer" proves otherwise!!
