Herb: This is a strategy for someone who trades CPQ, not for an investor, especially not an investor who has held his/her shares for more than one year:

>Therefore, it stands to reason that a CPQ investor who would like to dodge
> the bullet sufficiently enough to minimize damage would do well to jump saddle to
> another horse DURING THE STAMPEDE

Assuming the investor has a gain, even with CPQ down, one must take taxes into consideration. If CPQ opens lower Monday then settles into the low 20 zone, the capital gains taxes to the IRS and one's state might deter a person who wants CPQ in the future from selling. For someone whose shares are in a tax free IRA, a trader, or short term investor, its a whole different story.
