An attorney should know better, but than..hey didn't Pugs say this guy was his counsel?

Actually not. Not Robert Quiel. Pugs said Robert Qualey, who's been kept well in the background since Landish arrived on the scene, was his lawyer.

This affair is oddly plagued by people with confusingly similar names. At one point even the players in the courtroom got Quiel and Qualey mixed up. To make matters worse, I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Quiel actually did practice law. I wonder if he's currently, um, licensed to do that.

And in any case, is Qualey really Pugs's attorney? As we know, he didn't respond to Zwebner's complaint; hence the default...
