Hi toowit,

Good points.

I firmly believe most brokers could care less if you make or lose money. Their main concern is making their lease payments on their Beemers. Regardless of what happens to our porfolios, they always make money with no risk.

The people that utilize these threads have a common goal, and that is to make money for themselves. If we work together, do lots of DD and stay away from P & D's, we will be rewarded.

I recall someone quoting Warren Buffet on another thread, "There's no such thing as bad stocks, just bad timing."

I sympathize with Lorraine, the only time I listened to a friend's broker cost me (on paper of course) $15,000. I had a small interest in BII, was convinced to take a profit in January and now, well we all know what's going on. But we can't worry about that.

Life is an ongoing learning experience and hopefully we get smarter everyday.
